The role requires individuals who can read and interpret technical drawings, cut and bend steel bars, and assemble reinforcement structures according to project specifications. A Steel Fixer plays a vital role in ensuring the strength and safety of concrete structures, making this a highly important position within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and plans.

• Measuring, cutting, bending, and assembling steel reinforcement bars and mesh.

• Installing steel reinforcements in the correct positions before concrete pouring.

• Using hand tools, power tools, and cutting machines safely and efficiently.

• Following safety guidelines and ensuring compliance with site regulations.

• Collaborating with supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers.

• Maintaining accuracy and precision in reinforcement placement.
