Key Responsibilities

Pipe Fitters are responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, plans, and technical drawings to determine the layout and installation of piping systems. They must measure, cut, and thread pipes with accuracy, ensuring the proper fit and function.

In addition, Pipe Fitters must install, assemble, and secure pipes using welding, bolting, or cementing techniques. They also conduct pressure tests to check for leaks and ensure system safety. In fire safety projects, Pipe Fitters must have expertise in installing fire protection systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
