CS Welder / SS Welder

The role of a CS (Carbon Steel) Welder and SS (Stainless Steel) Welder is vital in the industrial and construction sectors. These professionals are responsible for executing precision welding operations on carbon steel and stainless steel materials, respectively. Their work supports the integrity and safety of structures and machinery across various projects, including oil & gas, construction, and infrastructure developments. Welders must interpret technical drawings, maintain strict safety protocols, and ensure quality compliance with industry standards. Their craftsmanship directly impacts the durability and functionality of critical infrastructure, making them indispensable in large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

Welders will be tasked with preparing and joining metal components using approved welding techniques specific to either carbon steel or stainless steel. They must inspect and assess materials, measure and align structures, and ensure welds are strong and free of defects. They will also be expected to maintain their equipment, follow safety regulations, and work collaboratively with other trades and supervisors to meet project timelines. In addition, accuracy in reading blueprints and maintaining a clean work environment is essential. All work must be performed with high attention to detail to ensure safety and compliance.

Skills and Knowledge

Candidates must possess hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, or arc welding, depending on the material type (CS or SS). A solid understanding of welding tools, materials, and safety procedures is crucial. Preferred candidates will have prior experience in industrial or infrastructure projects and be familiar with Saudi Arabian worksite practices. Knowledge of welding codes and standards, such as ASME or AWS, is a plus. Physical fitness, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are essential traits.
